We will hold the next Kuwait Bloggers Meeting at Second Cup, the one near the kuwait stock market. It will be on thursday the 5th of may at 5:30 PM.
It would be nice to let us know if you're coming although we are always up for a surprise visit. This meeting should be interesting especially that we have some bloggers coming back to kuwait.
Lately, I am sharing the responsibility of updating Safat with the latest Adding Blog Emails.. I'm glad to be helping out Nibaq and I'd do it anytime. The thing is, there are some people out there who don't realize that this is an online community for blogs located in Kuwait or by Kuwaitis living outside or just you know something in this relativity. I have received weird blog adding requests from some people in the UK who are running a Fatso Experiment which is lame might I add.. and others from like Companies abroad who offer stuff.. So I'd like to point out a few things.
1. Don't send your adding blog request more than one time. We will add it once we get the email ONCE no need to go and flood our inboxes.
2. Be sure it has something relavant to Kuwait. (i.e. you are a Kuwaiti, you are living in Kuwait, you are something like that?)
3. Don't start a blog with one entry, ask to be added to Safat and just quit. I will make it a rule to check out the blogs and have at least an updated blog added.
4. When requesting to be added, make sure you change the feed of your site to show Snippets, so that we can have a clean Safat Aggregator.
Basically that's it, and thanks alot. Hope blogging will become a good experience for us all.
